Seeing the subcategories section
Hi all,
Ive just set up this site lg-tvs.co.uk Now on the right I have 2 category headings TV Types & Screen Size, they both have sub-categories, but they are not displaying unless you click on them. How do I display the subcategories permenently? Thanks Dave |
Hi
For your category widget, try using Template 2 from the Category List snippet section. That will display all parent and child categories. Eric |
Hi Eric,
Ive tried this but the child categories still arent displaying? Dave |
Sorry, I meant to say "Template 2".
|
Hi Eric, Im trying this but its not working
|
Hi
Template 2 will display all categories (parent and sub) without clicking. Make sure you are editing the correct widget and that you have updated your site's settings by clicking the [Update Settings Only] button. Eric |
thanks, i had a value in the "maximum tree depth" by mistake. The sub categories are showing now but they are all in a line and dont look like subcategories (like the template) but just a normal menu

URL?

That theme you are using has no styling for multi-level lists. You'll have to add your own. Eric |
