Duplicate products recently appearing

Eric, recently my store has added about a 1000 new products to it and I've noticed that most if not all appear to be duplicate products from the same merchant. Now I know many of my subscriptions need to have the "remove duplicates" checkbox checked however I have many that do have it checked and the duplicates are still appearing. Any ideas?

Another thing is many merchants have two of the same products showing up (same everything but price) and these are not being filtered out with the remove duplicate filter. Again any idea why? Thanks

If they have different prices then our system does not consider them duplicates. There is probably some other discrepancy between the products like material or color or size which would warrant 2 different prices.
