URGENT: product detail pages not directing to merchant website

Someone has just bought this to my attention. I cannot believe it has probably been like this for months and I was wondering why it was not making any money!

When you click on an image or link, it takes you to the details page, but then from there, it just opens a new tab with the same page in it. It is not redirecting to the merchant.

Things i have done:
1. checked the code and definitely it says product.url on the Product Detail view, as opposed to product.link, which is on the Category View.
2. I have upgraded the plugin, reset the store and reimported everything (including the new factory host, as I am using hostgator)
3. I have checked all the url settings in the factory.

Ahhh.. why is it not redirecting?

Murphy's law, the minute I sent the SOS email, I find the problem
I had to same url for the buy link and the details page, in the url settings.
OMG... how long has it been like that.
The only reason I found out about it, was because I was selling the site... because it wasn't making any money any more.... Can't make money with no links to the merchant!!!

Hi

I imported your store (and all of its settings) into my test site and the "View" link works for me.

Do you have any other redirect plugin or custom mod_rewrite stuff on your site?
