Default Create 'Single Product' sidebar widget

Hello team,

I would like to know if it's possible to create a widget similar to the "Products" widget which instead of showing a random product, I would be able to 'feature' a specific product based on it's product ID.

Hi

Sure, you could create a new Widget in the Factory named something like "singleproduct". Then add a Product detail module to the new Widget and add the Product detail template code to the module. In the settings for the module, you can add the Product ID:

No, this is not possible. You will want to create a "hidden" category and put those 3 products into that category and then display a product list module which pulls in all products from that category.

You can start with the code in the Snippets section under Product Templates > Template 1 > 1 Column. Then you can edit that as desired.

I know, my problem is to tell the snippet to use my "Hidden category" This is the snippet i use. The name of the "hidden Category" is: "Neuste Produkte"

<div class="pl">
[product.each]
<div class="bdr">
<h4><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.name]</a></h4>
<div class="thmb"><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.thumbnail tag='1']</a></div>
<h4><div class="prc">[product.price] </div></h4>
<div class="desc">[product.description cut='20 words']</div>
<div class="btns">
<a href="[product.link]" title="Mehr zu: [product.name]" class="dfbutton dfblue dfmedium dfrounded">mehr Details</a>
</div>
</div>
[product.end]
</div>

Hi

You should put the hidden category's ID number into the Custom query string field. You can find that field by clicking the settings icon ( ) for the Product list module.

You will put in something like: c=123456

where 123456 is the category ID.
