Default Adding categories to my Nav Bar

Hello,

Can I add a category widget to a WP page and just have one WP page for each category? To avoid content duplication issues I no indexed the category pages, but would like to add a drop down on my website for each under estore nav bar that shows my categories. I saw some php, but can't make those changes to my WP based site using the Headway Theme. Want to create some unique content for each category that'll get indexed and have a drop down menu below estore on my nav bar.

Thank you,

Michael Kaloudis

Hi

Why not use a shortcode to display your category list within a post or a page?

Default Making Categories appear on store page navigation

I have viewed the link that Eric provided but this isn't working for me.

I don't want to insert a product comparison or text I silly want that the following 3 categories
Equipment
Clothing
Accessories (I have lots more categories but you get the point)

when feeding through into Wordpress connect automatically to my drop down menus on the navigation bar along the top of the page. Currently I have redirects in place but am concerned this will be messy and easy to break (and in fact I am already seeing that when I try to navigate the site so I need to remove the redirects)

Can you advise a quick way to do this please?

regards

Anne

Hi Anne,

I've posted how to append your store categories to your WordPress main menu here: http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3448
