Default Turn on Compression

Just thought I drop this in this section.

Does not matter where you are hosting you should ensure that in your CPanel or whatever you are using that you turn on the compression for your sites.

I use hostgator and it is very simple to do and it will certainly assist with the load times of your web sites being hosted.

There are three options, I choose compress all content.

Just a thought.

Thanks for this tip! I've not ever heard to do this before. Are there any negatives to compressing our sites? Just want to be clear on the ramifications (good and bad) of turning this on.

Hey Dana

I have not had negitive feedback from anyone and it has not done any of my sites any harm.

One minor issue to do with a plug-in I use but the developers sorted that for me and it was caused by the files being compressed. (Only happens first time thing)
