Don't know how to omit non related products

Hi,

Ok, so just when I thought I had it ALL figured out LOL, I'm stumped.

B/c I can't use search operators with tags, I'm having an issue.

Here's the search I did - http://awesomescreenshot.com/0e31ebesab

The problem is, it's bringing up a whole bunch of clothing as well that has the word "pump" in the description.

I used one -dresses, but I can't figure out how to get rid of the pants, jumpsuits & tshirts b/c I can't add them to the tag field.

To delete them one by one would take a long time, as I'm already going to have to delete all those Bebe & Chinese Laundry ones b/c of the image issues.

How would you do it?

You can do negative searches in the "keyword" field which also filters the "tags" field.

Ahh, you put it under "product name". So I did that & didn't minus the heel & it worked.

Just so I'm clear, how do you decide when you put the kw in the keyword field or the product name field?

What's your determining factor?

And yes I know I can use the kw field to get rid of the tags, BUT I think (I can't remember now) I only wanted to get rid of the tags.

What happens if the word dress is in the description? Then I'm screwed b/c it will get rid of products that I don't want to omit.

This is why I wish you would allow us to concentrate on the tags too.

Hi,

I decide by trial and error. With a little experimentation I can quickly find the right search.

Tags help but there is a limitation to tags and that is tags are not shared across multiple merchants. Sometimes merchants will use the same tags but most of the times they do not.
