Default Drip DFR Issues

Hello,

I am having some issues using the drip feature. It works on some themes,
but does not work on my main theme sets. I have checked the exerpt feature and the post are not being shortened. I turned it off and on to no effect.

Is there a way of checking a theme to see why the drip feature does not work on
a particular theme.

Thanks for your help,

Richard

Default Category Issues

Hello,

I forgot to mention another issue concerning the categories - Blog categories vs the store categories. Apparently the system using a category sytem for the data feed and the blog uses it's own wp theme category system. The problem is when I try to use the permalinks feature in my blog categories, it apparently shuts down the store - nothing is posted.

Is there a way to use permalinks in the blog categories along with the links created by the datafeedr system? I would like to have my keywords in my blog urls.

Thanks again for your help?

Is this related to the first issue you posted about?

The only thing that shows up in the blog is the DFR code. Nothing else. I have also tried the embedding into a post feature with the same results - works for some blogs, but not my main ones.

OK - read the rules.

Here is the info. Store ID 33609
Website url http://halloweencostumes-x.com
Specific page url: http://halloweencostumes-x.com/?q=store/?p=180
No error messages.

I did find out that the product has to be in your store. In the case of the theme
that works (Drips ok), when the product was not in the store, the post just
comes up blank.

I will repost the category issue.

I don't think that post is from a dripped product. It looks like it was embedded, not dripped.

Default Issue is the same embedded

Yes, that is right. It is an embedded drip. I shut the drip system down a couple of days ago after having to delete numberous posts. The problem is the same though. If we can solve this one I am sure the other will be solved too.

I don't think the issue is with the drip as I understand it. The drip apparently just does the same thing an embedded post - i.e. drips the DRP code into the post vs me manualy embedding it. Richard.

Let's see if the problem goes away after you get your Permalinks fixed.

OK - the permalinks issue is solved, but the embeded DRP is still there. I will turn my drip system back on and see if anything is different there, but I rather doubt it.

Once your last Permalink issue is fixed (ie. the Site URL), then your drips should display fine as seen here: http://halloweencostumes-x.com/test-post/

Drip apparently is working now, but only the DPR code is showing up on the post page.

These issues are still not addressed: http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5201 Fix those and I think this issue will be resolved.

Eric, Make the fixes in http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5201. See that thread for details.
The Drip issue and the imbedded DPR issues still remain. The drip apparently is working, but both the drip pages and the imbedded pages still show only the DPR codes.

As I indicated before, this issue apparently is only in this particuliar set of halloween themes. I just did a preview of the general word press theme and a couple of others themes and the drip/imbedded pages look fine.
