![]() Hi Eric,
I'm using "Virtual Muliti Blog" to run many WP sites off one code base... Can you see any reason why this would not work with the new version of DF? It works fine with the old version. Another way to ask the question is if there are any site specific files downloaded to the file system using the new plugin, or is everything stored in the database? Thanks! Anders

![]() Hi
To be honest, we haven't done too much multi site testing, yet. I'm also unfamiliar with Virtual Multi Blog so I can't say for sure. I would test it out before committing. Eric

![]() No worries... I'll get around to that soon!
Are any site specific files downloaded to the WP site from the factory? Or is everyting in the DB? Cheers, Anders

![]() Nearly everything is DB. I don't remember having any site specific stuff... the site just needs to match the URL set on your Basic Store Settings in the Factory.

![]() Quick update...
Got my second shop up and running now on a multi blog system, and it seems as if everything is running fine... Good stuff :-)

![]() Are you using separate domains for your shops? I think it does not matter particularly, if you are using domains or subdomains, it DataFeedR works than it works. what do you think?

![]() I use separate domains for my sites...
We did a test with 10 sites on their own domains and 10 sites on subdomains last year, and the sites we had on subdomains ranked very poorly in Google... but that's another story... If you can get the validation in Datafeedr to work I don't think it matters, but I've seen somewhere on this forum that Datafeedr doesn't like sites in subfolders... Cheers, Anders
