![]() Hello,
I am currently using hostmonster as my service provider. My site was suspended last week. I removed one wp plugin and repair and optimized my databases. My site was turned back on but is still showing high query times for certain table in the database. The wp_dfr_shop_products table is consistently having a query time of over 2 seconds. Sometimes way more. Hostmonster is telling me this is too much. Is this simply because of the amount of products I have in the store. Currently around 50k. Any ideas how I can reduce the query times? Thank you. Tim. |

![]() Hi
It could be a combination of having 50,000 products in a table plus being on a shared server. First, I would install a caching plugin to prevent so many queries being made on your site. In version 3.4 (which should be released this month) we are focusing on optimizing DB queries along with other types of optimizations. I think this will make a difference. Eric
