Change featured products?

Hopefully this is a simple thing to do, I think it probably is.

How can I change the featured products on the stores front page? Are you able to pick and choose what goes there?

Do you want to show specific products on your store's front page? If so, you will need to create a hidden category, add the specific products to that hidden category and then link to the hidden category using the Custom Query String field in the Product list module settings.

Thanks, I will try this out, but just wondered how the products were chosen to display in the featured area as they appear to be in an order and I would like to randomise them.

Then you can choose to show random products from the same settings interface. But, if you have thousands of products in your store, displaying products randomly can slow things down.
