Sorting Template > Products Don't Sort When I Try

Recently added the sorting template to the category page view > product list template. But when I went to try a practice sort (ie. sort by Price (low to high), it doesn't sort.

Also, the category listings always show Price high, is there any way to change that to show recent or something else so it doesn't always show up with the highest priced products first?

Hi,

You need to select the "Allow override" checkbox here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CATEGORY PAGE > Default > Product list module > Settings ()

You can also change the default sort there, too.
