Default How to reflect amazon sales price, not 3rd party vendors price

Most amazon products pick as sales price the lowest in the product website. Most of the times, the lowest is offered by a third party vendor at amazon. However those prices are very low because then they charge a ton of $$$ for shipping. It seems to me is always better to show the amazon sales price that normally is free shipping with $25 spending (unless we can add the shipping cost to the price of the other featured vendors).

Any solution to this?

We're limited to the prices Amazon provides in the API.

Please provide more information about the products in question like ASIN number or a product URL on your site so we can verify which prices are provided by Amazon.

here is an example
http://thriftytraveling.com/store/ad...7700000021126/

it shows a price of $.40 because is the lowest price in the offering list at amazon (without shipping) but when you include shipping this price becomes $3. This happens with all products.

However what you see featured at amazon is not the $.40 product as the lowest price but instead a $3 price because that's the lowest price with shipping included.

So many of my products are like $0.01 because 3rd party vendors at amazon play this game of product price $0.01 and shipping $2.99

Not sure you got a solution for this

This has nothing to do with shipping price.

If Amazon delivers the product through a 3rd party they often display the price of one of the 3rd parties and this is not by default the lowest price.

The $3 is the price offered by HandHelditems.

If you click on the "34 new" link you'll see all the merchants offering this product.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=new

You'll see that $0.40 is the lowest price at which this product is available.

If Amazon delivers the product through a 3rd party we use the lowest new price (if available) as sales price.

As you can see on attached screenshot Amazon's API list price is $19.99 and lowest new price $0.40.
