Default Sorting options style.

After updating my theme my sorting style is broken. How do I move everything back in one line?

Hi,

Here's the Custom CSS:

Code:
.styled-select { float: left; }
#view .dfsbmt { float: right; }

"Go" button is back in the block, but it's still not in line.

Try adding this to your Custom CSS:
Code:
#view .dfsbmt { margin-top: -20px; }

It still bit messy. I just want to get everything in one line and centred something like here https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BysN...?ups=drive_web

Hi,

The problem is your theme is inserting its own HTML and CSS into the mix and it's messing up the layout. That's why the layout isn't working.

You might need to have your theme developer give you the proper working HTML/CSS for the layout you need.

Ow that might be problem. My theme support is terrible. I asked them why my blog page loading speed is 18 seconds and other pages are loading within 3 sec. They told me to contact my internet service provider. I thought that they are joking, but no follow up on that. It always takes up to week to get reply. And if will mention third party plugin that is like keyword to get automatic sentence - "we don't provide support for plugins".

I have to sort this out with your help or I have to hire developer. I was really hoping to fix this and title block today and launch my site.

Hi,

That's a bummer. I would suggest asking your theme developer how to prevent injecting HTML and CSS into elements rendered by posts. That's the main issue. If your theme wasn't injecting HTML and CSS, then you would have the default Datafeedr styling of the sorting section and it would be exactly how you wanted it.

If I will ask theme developers to "how to prevent injecting HTML and CSS into elements rendered by posts?" will that sorting still have my theme colors and fonts? Can that cause different problems for example in my blog page?

P.S.
I noticed that if I do refresh for page that sorting for second looks exactly like it should.

Hi,

If your theme stops injecting css and html into the rendered content, then your sorting section should look similar to this:

You might notice things look properly for a second because your theme might be injecting the html and css via javascript after the page loads.

I don't know is that best solution, because there is different font, different colors. For this website design is very important.

Changing font-family and font's color is easy.

It took me forever , but I managed to get that button in the block. It's not perfect it's not in on line, but I can live with this. I used this CSS:

#view .dffltrs .dflside {
float: left;
margin-left: 20px;
}

#view .dffltrs .dfrside {

padding-left: 40px;
margin-left: 20px;
margin-right: 80px;
}

#view .dfsbmt {
float: right;
margin-top: -36px;
margin-right: -65px;
}

P.S.
Thank you for all your help here and if can leave positive feedback about your product and support just let me know.
