Default Custom Products

Sorry I had a search around and couldn't see this answered anywhere...

When will the ability to add custom products be available in the new V3?

Are we talking weeks, months.. maybe never?
It is such a big thing that the old version had, as there are many merchants with incomplete datafeeds and adding products manually was the way around it.

Default We need custom products!

Custom products is an essential feature for us. We can't consider upgrading until we can add custom products. We have non-affiliate advertisers who pay us directly to display their products in our store. For this reason, V3 is completely useless to us for the time being.
At the same time I'm dying to upgrade so that we can improve the search functionality for our store. The searches in V1 are really poor.
Please, please make custom products a #1 priority for V3.

Just a quick 'second' (or more) for adding the custom products feature sooner rather than later.
I have merchants who are not in datafeeder at all (such as Amazon) whose products I add by hand.

Customizing descriptions, etc is also very useful at times (whether we are trying to make them unique or just because the vendor's description is pitiful) - it sounded like you are not planning on adding that back? Used to be our custom stuff was not changed when the store updated ( I believe)

I notice in the factory there is now an option to add a custom product. Is this fully functional?
