Default Drip Post incompatible with WordPress plugins

I followed the video and instructions to setup the drip posts feature.

However, I noticed that these posts break plugins on the page. E.g. I have a social share plugin, another posts plugin, etc, which disappear when these posts are created.

Also, even though commenting is enabled, it doesn't appear.

Are these known issues? I have the latest wordpress install.

Hi

If your other plugins don't require template changes, then yes, you're going to have a problem.

If a post is dripped, all contents of the post including stuff included by other plugins will be replaced with the dripped content. There's no way around that.

Commenting, however, should still work. There's no reason commenting shouldn't work unless your theme is using the the_content() function to display all post elements.

Hi

Most likely those are posts that have already been dripped but scheduled for the future.

Just make sure you click the [Update Settings Only] button after disabling dripping.

Forgot to update the settings - thanks!

btw -- one more question related to dripping

For dripping from multiple merchants, I couldn't find an example. is the following syntax correct?

merchant=merchantname1+merchantname2

Thanks in advance!

Hi

That's not possible. You can only drip from 1 merchant or all merchants.

Eric
