Default Loading spinning icon?

I guess it's the nature of the beast that datafeeds can be slow at times. However some times they are very fast and other times it may take 6,7, 8 seconds to load. It would be nice to have one of those spinning circle "loading" javascripts or something to let the user know that something is happening? Is that something we can do? Is that something that would need to be done through datafeedr or wordpress?

Thanks!
Ken

Hi,

What pages are taking a long time to load exactly?

It can really be any page that has to call a datafeed. It's usually fine. 20 minutes ago I went to the site and it was slow. Homepage loaded fast but doesn't have a datafeed. Next page hung about 7 seconds. Which is not TOO long, but I'd like the visitor to know that the page is loading when it does this. I thought of it because I didn't know if I missed the link or the page was loading...then suddenly the page popped up. It won't help for me to give you a link, because it could very well load fast when you check it. You'll have to trust me that sometimes it's quick and sometimes it's slow. But here it a link that was slow before. http://saveongolf.net/store/category/2013-hot-list/

Hi,

I think that's more of a theme thing, not a Datafeedr thing.

You might take a look at a caching plugin.
