Default Google Affiliate - tracking multiple stores

How can I add a unique store identifier to Google Affiliate store links?

Steps I hope will work:
1) Select a store
2) Click "Add your affiliate ID's to this store.
3) Scroll down to "Google Affiliate Network"
4) Type in my Google Affiliate ID
5) Append this directly after the Google Affiliate ID: &mid=myreallycoolstore

So the Affiliate ID would look something like:
410000000XXXXXXXX&mid=myreallycoolstore

Will the above work?

The Google documentation shows an example of an MID tracking link as:
http://gan.doubleclick.net/gan_click...eallycoolstore

If this works then my store link would be the same but with the "&mid" parm before the "&pubid" parm... for example:
http://gan.doubleclick.net/gan_click...00000000XXXXXX

If the network supports subid tracking (most networks do) you'll be able to track the source of the sale.

The value that is passed to the subid is managed via the REFERRER_ID variable that you see in the Affiliate IDs & Tracking Parameters window.

As you already mentioned GAN has a mid= parameter. CJ uses a sid= parameter, Shareasale uses an afftrack= parameter and so on.

This is how it works: PER visitor to your site a unique number will be assigned and stored together with the referrer information.

BY DEFAULT the unique number is then passed to the affiliate URL through the subid parameter.

When a visitor makes a sale through one of your affiliate links the number will then be reported in the network's stats.

You can then look up that number in the Datafeedr plugin interface (Tracking screen) to see where the sale is coming from.

It's possible to add your own info in front of xyzREFERRER_ID or at the end REFERRER_IDxyz of REFERRER_ID to differentiate sites which are using the same affiliate ID.
