Default Sorting Template.. adding saleprice=1- not working

Hey Guys, a quick question.

I included the string saleprice=1- within the sorting template... Do i need to add something somewhere else to make the feature happen? I had a similar feature within a widget in the sidebar but would rather have it up top in the sorting template.

Sort by:
<?php echo datafeedr_tools()->form_select("sort",
array(
"saleprice=1-" => "ON SALE",
"price" => "Price (low to high)",
"-price" => "Price (high to low)",
"name" => "Product Name (a - z)",
"-name" => "Product Name (z - a)",

thanks!

Update... I changed it to '-saleprice' and it sorts sale prices high to low. I've tried to make a 'low to high' string but with no luck. Help? Thanks!

Hi,

For sale prices sorted low to high you need to use 'saleprice' (without the negative sign).

However, it probably won't appear to be working because if the saleprice is set to 0, then that will be the lowest price.

You could try using sprice and -sprice. Those values take the absolute lowest prices. It:

- displays the salesprice (if any) instead of regular price
- displays the regular price if there's no salesprice

Thanks Eric,

I tried the 'saleprice' to sort low to high but as you said, it just didn't work to my needs.
Thanks for the other options!
