Default Category images

http://rideonsurfshop.co.uk

ID = 30949

Is there a way i can stop the category image displaying when i have clicked into the category?.

For example I only want the image to display as a button and not on the following page.

So beanie shows on this page http://rideonsurfshop.co.uk/store/ca.../mens-cothing/

And i dont want it to show on this page as it takes up space in the top of the page.

http://rideonsurfshop.co.uk/store/ca.../beanies-mens/

Hi

Yes, you just need to remove the reference to the category image from within the Text module on your Category Page > Default view.

Hi Eric,

I take it this is the code? I have taken out the high lighted text but the images still appears? I am doing something wrong? I have also tried to take out the related PHP and it turn the page blank?

<!-- Category Name -->
<h2>[category.name]</h2>
<!-- /Category Name -->

<p>
<?php if ($category->image) { ?>

<!-- Category Image -->
<img src="[category.image]" alt="[category.name]" style="float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;" />
<!-- /Category Image -->

<?php } elseif ($category->thumbnail) { ?>

<!-- Category Thumbnail -->
<img src="[category.thumbnail]" alt="[category.name]" style="float:left;margin:0 10px 10px 0;" />

<?php } ?>

<!-- Category Description -->
[category.description]
<!-- /Category Description -->
</p>

Try this:
HTML Code:
<!-- Category Name -->
<h2>[category.name]</h2>
<!-- /Category Name -->

<p>
  <!-- Category Description -->
  [category.description]
  <!-- /Category Description -->
</p>
