Change "Home" link in breadcrumb on Search Page

Hi Eric,

Just have a quick question. I have a different page as my home page (not /store). I have altered all menu links and breadcrumb links, however the Home link on the search page takes me back to the /store page. Where do I edit this link so that I can direct to my desired home page.?

I have searched the forum and store settings but obviously I am missing something.

Hi

Because that is a breadcrumb for your store, the home link will always take you back to your store's front page.

You can either remove the link altogether or change "Home" to "Store Home".

To remove the link, go here The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > SEARCH PAGE > Default and delete the Breadcrumb module.

To change the link go here The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > SEARCH PAGE > Default > Breadcrumb module and click the settings icon. There you can change the "Title for the store homepage".

I had changed the title to "Home" but that still took me to the "store" home page not the custom wp home page I had setup.

However your reply got me thinking on the right track.

I simply wrapped the the title in a html tag (link to the desired page) in the "Tag" field (Factory > My Store > VIEWS > SEARCH PAGE > Default > Breadcrumb >settings). Then with a little custom CSS removed the underline so that it looked like the usual breadcrumb.

Sometimes the answer is right under your nose and it just takes a little push in the right direction - Thankyou for the great support.
