![]() Hey,
Just clicked the backup button on the datafeedr dashboard on wordpress. What exactly does that do? Does it back up my entire store - Views (and custom views) - Categories and their structures (and products) - HTML codes - Store settings (e.g. URL, custom CSS, etc.) - Header tags, etc. If not, how can I do this? Thank you. P.S. If the store goes down can I restore everything from the backup as well. |

![]() Hi
The backup makes a backup file of all of your store's info. It might seem redundant because your store already exists in the Factory but it's a quick and easy way to revert back to the way things were if something is wrong in the Factory and you need to take some time to fix it. Eric

![]() Thanks for the quick reply Eric.
Want to make sure I understand correctly. If for example: 1. My whole store gets corrupted for some wierd reason, I can use the backup to restore everything to how it was before the store got corrupted? 2. If I make a change to my store but want to restore it back to how it was when I made the backup, I can use the most recent backup file? 3. If my store gets deleted by accident, I can use the backup to get it back to exactly how it was initially? Thank you. |

![]() Hi
1. Yes, but just your store. Nothing about your blog (posts, pages, comments) gets backed up. 2. Yes. 3. Yes. But in most cases you would just use the [Update Products and Settings] button because your store in the Factory will probably be configured how you want anyway. Eric
