Yes, this is correct. It depends on the available width, # of columns and original size of image. It also depends on the Datafeedr template you've chosen to use for displaying list of products.

You need to change
[product.thumbnail to
[product.image in all of your Product List modules.

These 3 things are dependent on the the size of your content area as well as the Datafeedr template you've chosen for product lists.
