Default "Brand" page set up, now filter?

Hi there

Just to clarify I did actually watch the 36 minute video and several other tutorials, but I cant seem to find an answer to this question.

Ok, so I have successfully set up my 'brand' pages. Let's say 'Nike' as an example:

site.com/nike/

When someone is browsing the 'Nike' page, I want them to be able to filter products, e.g. t-shirts, shoes etc.

What do I need to do in the Factory to make this appear? Do I need to also set up categories for t-shirts, shoes?

I did something, but it didnt work out.

Thanks

Hi

I think you went about it in reverse. I think you should have set up categories like "t-shirts" and "shoes" and used the brand names as filters.

I've written a tutorial on how to do that here: http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3853

I've had a go at this. I'd like to stick with brand as the main page, and the categories as the filters.

Followed your instructions on this page" http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3853

but the filter is not showing on the page...

Hi

You need to set your "Store" page to use the Sidebar Template.

thank you. I think I understand now. I need to set that filter to contain brand + category products.
