Default "Missing" store.css

Hi,

I changed the name of my store home page, and since I did that the store.css file seems to be somehow disconnected.

My store home page and URL settings have been changed from 'store' to 'gear'. I've updated my plugin directory settings and the basic URL settings within the factory. But no matter what, I can't seem to locate the .css file (and my page displays like it).

My current settings are as follows:
Plugin directory URL: /images/df-css
Factory URL Setting for CSS: %lc
Current source code reference: <link rel='stylesheet' href='/images/df-css/store.css' type='text/css' />

Looking in that directory, there is no store.css file.

I've also had it set in various other combinations, such as 'gear/styles.css' with no directory setting in the plugin settings, etc.

But I'm obviously missing SOMETHING. Is there a step that I'm missing?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi

Did you configure that Path and URL here: WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr > Directories > CSS Directory?

I did configure that. The css directory is currently configured as:

URL: /images/df-css
Path: ....../images/df-css (actual path removed)

Also tried doing this with the URL and path left as blanks. But that didn't work.

Is the df-css directory writable?

Looks like it. CMOD is set at 775. Same as the other directories, and I had no permissions issues show when setting that directory in the Tools > Directory settings.

I checked that angle by changing the directory path to the same as the products images directory (which has no issues). Did a settings update, and there is no change. Also did the same test using my root directory as the css location. No change. No apparent permissions issues.

Hi

We were able to get the css working by setting the url to "gear/css", but we still haven't found why other configuration don't work. The store works just fine on our test site, so I guess there must be something on your side. Maybe some plugin or a server setting which intercepts all urls that contain ".css" and attempts to output them directly, bypassing wordpress.

Thanks Eric.

Could very well be a server setting. My host is a little funny that way.
