![]() Hi There,
I'm sure there must be a thread on this but I've been unable to find it. I'm just wondering if there is a simple way to have the store as the homepage on a subdomain and remove /store/category/ from the URLs without me having to use some rewrite rules. Since I will be sub-domaining there won't be any conflict with categories between the store and the blog, it will be a stand alone store, separate from the blog. I tried simply changing the front page in wordpress to be the "store" page but as soon as I do that nothing is pulled into the homepage, /store/ still pulls in the store. Also, /store/category/ still exists for the deep pages. I'm looking to have: http://www.domain.com/ as the blog http://store.domain.com/ as the store home page on a separate WP install http://store.domain.com/category-name/ as category page http://store.domain.com/category-name/product-name/ as product page I'm sure I can work out rewrite rules to make this happen for the most part but want to make sure the products will feed in okay. Thanks! |

![]() Hi
If you know there won't be any path conflicts, just remove "store" from the URL paths in the URL Settings section. That should work. Eric
