![]() I am seeing many tags page indexed on google that point to no products.
ex:http://buygpu.com/tags/gt6302gd3v2/ I have no control over these tags url. What could I do to avoid these tag pages without results or to remove the tags pages ? thanks |

![]() The only thing you can do to prevent this from happening is remove the tags from your store home page and product detail pages.
As I don't see any tags on your site I guess you already removed the tags code from your store templates. As previous tag pages have been indexed in Google your only option to remove them from the index is follow the guidelines here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419 Because the tag pages lead to an existing page on your site, the guidelines also suggest to use robots.txt ( http://buygpu.com/robots.txt ) to prevent Google from crawling these tag URLs. You can add an additional Disallow command in your robots.txt file to block tag pages from the search engines: Code:
