Default Creating a New Category

Store ID:
Website URL: thenarrowshoe.com
URL to page in question:
http://thenarrowshoe.com/category/featured-shoes/

Eric,

Two questions:

1) Since I changed category names in the menu of my wp site, do I need to delete the categories I created in the factory and recreate them? I'm trying to just change the name on the menu and on the category in the factory and that's not working. What do you suggest?

2) Although the url above when copied and pasted says featured shoes -- when I click on it on the front end the on the page tab it says Featured Shoes Archive. How do I fix this? Do I have to delete the whole store and recreate it? I'm not sure how this happened and what to do to fix it.

Thanks!

Hi,

1. No need to delete anything. You'll just need to go into your Menu page ( WordPress Admin Area > Appearance > Menus ) and change the name and/or link on that page.

2. No need to delete anything. That's a WordPress thing. You can remove or change that using a plugin like WordPress SEO.

For some reason when I recreated the menu categories some of them are saying "custom" instead of sub-category. Why would that happen and how would I fix/change that?

Hi,

That's because you would have to have created custom links to link to your store category pages.
