Default Commentics

Hi,

I have commentics installed on my site, is there any way to add it to datafeedr using this code:

First line:

<?php
session_start();
ob_start();
?>

Head:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="comments/css/stylesheet.css"/>

Body:

<?php
$cmtx_page_id = "1";
$cmtx_reference = "Page One";
$cmtx_path = "comments/";
define('IN_COMMENTICS', 'true'); //no need to edit this line
require $cmtx_path . "includes/commentics.php"; //no need to edit this line
?>

This could help with google ranking by adding rich snippets,

Regards,
Pauline

Hi Pauline,

If commentics relies on WP's commenting field, it's probably not possible to use them for your products.

Hi Eric,

Commentics is installed in it's own database and doesn't rely on any other software, I have managed to integrate with xcart using tutorials and have read that it can be integrated into any PHP based package but I'm unsure of where I should add the code.

Any help would be appreciated, google likes the rich snippet and it could be a great add on if I can get it running,

Regards,
Pauline.

Hi,

The "First line" and the "head" parts should be added to your theme's template files, not into datafeedr views.

The "Body" part can be added to any Text module in the Factory where you want the script to appear. However you may have to modify the paths in that code.
