Default Removing old directories and affiliate links

Since version 3 just came out.. I don't see where the option is to change the directories... so "you can remove ALL references to datafeedr from your source code"... is this no longer an option?

Also i don't see an option to mask the affiliates images or URL's.. is this automatic?

Thanx!

Hi

Affiliate links are masked automatically.

The deletion of old folders and files is covered in this video about upgrading: http://www.datafeedr.com/videos?vide...to-v3#videotop

nice!

just to clarify, the video does cover deleting the folders in the FTP, but it didn't talk about a new one.. Sooo, I take it the new version doesn't use an actual "datafeedr" folder to worry about changing the name of?

Also, for footprinting reasons, would you still recommend changing the product paths at all now? category, image, etc.

Thanx so much!

Installing in Version 3 is much simpler and faster than Version 1.

As for footprinting, there's nothing to worry about other than your merchant logos. You can remove that footprinting on this page: yoursite.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=datafeedr&mm=web
