Default Product Detail page layout

Store ID:
Website URL: www.fashiontazia.com
URL to page in question: http://www.fashiontazia.com/store/me...4300044998770/

Hi guys. Just started my new store (www.fashiontazia.com) and still working on it. I have a responsive theme for my store. However, the product details page looks ugly on mobile, try it. How can I change the layout to make it look like one thing underneath the other so it looks better on a mobile device instead of the current look?

My other question is on how to make a faceted search. If you go to the home page and filter by price it will filter only featured products in the home page but won't show products from different categories. Is it designed to work this way or am I missing something?

Hi,

Welcome to the forums!

Here's how to have a responsive product page:
http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/show...6748#post46748

That's how faceted search works, it acts as a filter on the current set of products.

For example, you are viewing the category "Shoes" and use faceted search to filter the list of products by price, you should see a filtered list of shoes. It should not perform an additional query such as also pull in products from another category (like "Dresses").

However on your front page, since the featured products is pulling from all categories on your site when you filter the list of products by price, you do get products from multiple categories.

For example, with this filter: http://www.fashiontazia.com/?price=20-40

I see these products (from different categories):
http://www.fashiontazia.com/store/me...5600114075949/
http://www.fashiontazia.com/store/wo...5601896014557/

Thanks Eric. Still looks the same in the product details page. I've also noticed the product images overlapping borders and product names not showing properly in my iPhone 5 in all categories. Attached are 2 pic from my mobile.

Thanks

Hi,

To get a responsive layout, you need to add the following 2 snippets of code to your Custom CSS (instructions).

http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/show...3122#post43122
http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/show...6748#post46748

I can see that neither of those snippets have been added to your store's Custom CSS:

I've tested the mobile site and it looks great, but why can I not see datafeedr filters (category and price filters)?

Hi,

That's because your theme is hiding the sidebar on mobile pages. You'll need to contact the theme developer about this.

Eric
