Hi Eric,

You mentioned in your response to my question yesterday that the permalinks might be the issue for the links not working properly.

Right now mine are set to custom: /%year%/%month%/%postname%

In your post you wrote something about "%month%" parameter of the URL.


Hostgator is telling me there is nothing wrong with them. Does that make sense to you? Should the custom parameter be set the way you have it? I'm so frustrated with this and no one seems to know how to help me. I've contacted Hostgator, the site associated with featured content plug-in -- they weren't much help and the plug-in designer hasn't updated it in three years. I don't know whether to delete it and install a different plug-in or if this is even the issue. Or does it make sense to have someone recreate the site for me in a newer version of the Lifestyle theme.

You probably don't have the answers either. Sorry to blab on. But if you have any additional thoughts I'd appreciate it.

I think you need %monthnum% instead of %month%.

Yep ... the "custom" structure in the permalinks section should definitely be that ..

/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

Thank you Eric and 1800HART. Now I've got one image back but it's not scrolling and the featured text isn't there. Aarrrrgh! What should I do now?
