Hi

You can do this manually by setting up custom pages for each brand (this is a lot of work) or you can follow this tutorial to set up pages filtered by brand.

If you set up custom pages, just use brand=nike in the query string field to specify the brand that you want to display. That can be configured in the Product List module settings. I suggest using the filter method as it's a LOT less work.

I have just been reading the related article on this and wondered if it is possible to have the system auto generate the filter i.e the 'brand' list rather than having to manually add it in each time as brands will come and go all the time as merchants update their stock.

Would be a great feature to have this automated and even reduce the brands as you move further into the sub categories and therefore only showing the brands that are available at that view.

Hi

So you will have to use a shortcode. But you should know that you can't use pagination with embed codes.

1. Create a new Custom View (ex. Brands)
2. Add a Product List module to the new view
3. Add the necessary template code to the Product list module
4. Configure the Product List module to "Allow override"
5. Use the shortcode in your posts like this: [DFR:Brands?brand=Nike]

Change "Nike" to whatever brand you want to use in that case.

Just know that embedded views can't use pagination.

Eric
