Default Datafeedr wordpress plugin

I want to know that how many products wordpress can handle from datafeedr. I mean, how many products can be saved in database of wordpress website from a datafeedr api. I hope wordpress database should not crash or website should not get slow down.

Regards
Amit

Hi

Welcome to the forums!

We allow a maximum of 100,000 products to be added to your store.

Hello Eric

Thanks for the quick reply. I know your api allows 100000 products to be imported at a time. But how many products a wordpress database can handle at a time? Let me know

Hi

MySQL databases (which is what WP uses) can handle millions of records in them. This is not where bottlenecks occur. Bottlenecks can occur with poorly written database queries, no caching, lots of traffic, low RAM or CPU, etc...

Your database will not be what holds you back once you start getting traffic to your website. It will be your server. At that point, if you are getting that much traffic, you will be driving lots of sales and will have the money to upgrade to a more powerful hosting server.

Thanks. So which server should we buy for hosting our website? We want to add millions of products in future. I prefer liquid web hosting. Let me know your view.

Hi

I have all of my personal sites hosted via Liquid Web and have for years. I highly recommend them.

Just to clarify, you can't have millions of products in 1 store.

Eric
