Default Ability to Update only certain categories

I have some big stores and before every update I do, I have to manually check each category, as there are always stray products from the merchants, which make their way into the saved searches, I have for each category.
But sometimes I just need to update one category, but I can't, as I only have the option to do the whole store and don't have time to sit and spend an hour doing through the whole store, just so I can update one category.

I would LOVE a way to just update certain categories and not the whole store.

I have the same problem as you large store and constantly checking if products are in the incorrect category. I have given up on autofeeding product into the store. I just do a search and add to category. I think automatically feeding products is a bad idea really if you have a large store
