Default HostGator incompatibility can cause problems updating store

I had problems initially when updating store and receiving error messages. A deinstall of the Datafeedr plug-in followed by an immediate reinstall solved the issue but only short term I think.

Tonight's problem is that I tried to change to 1 column rather than 3 for the products and I got that error_curl message again.

I went online with HostGator this evening, gave them my error message and they said it is a 3rd party scripting problem and not theirs. Are they right?

SHould I uninstall then reinstall the plug in each time I need to update the store do you think? Updating settings only is not an issue.

Thanks for all this support Eric, I would be drowning without it.

3.1.5.3214. When I try to upgrade to 3.2.3264 via WP, all my products disappear from my store. The category title product remains but products within the category disappear. Message states 'no products found'.

Hi

After you upgrade to 3.2.3264, you must update your store by clicking the [Update Products and Settings] button here: WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr. After that, your product pages will appear again.
