Default heavy images take time to load

Store ID: 1ddgzx8u14yvq7m9
Website URL: brandsclub.es
URL to page in question: brandsclub.es

Hi, how are you guys?

I have two questions:

1. The images that appear on brandsclub.es they seem to be very heavy, is there anyway to push a lighter version of them so that they dont take so much time to load?

for example:
http://www.brandsclub.es/wp-content/...0146841747.jpg

this image is huge and when it appears it is much smaller, so perhaps the loading could be done with a simplir lighter image?

2. When i switch tabs on the browser, go to another tab to look in google or something, and then when i go back to my store (brandsclub.es) tab some images have disappeared and as I jump on the page, they load back again. its a bit confusing. any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi

1. You can try to display the thumbnail versions. Just replace occurrences of [product.image with product.thumbnail in your views.

Or to get your images to load faster, turn OFF URL rewriting by going here: The Factory > Your Store > Store menu > URL Settings and change the following 2 fields:

Product image: %li
Product thumbnail: %lt

2. I don't have any ideas about that. It might just be the browser trying to save memory while multiple tabs are open.
