Default change color of buttons

I want to change the color of the "Search Store Go button" and the "Sort by" Go button from black to orange. Have been trying to figure it out for about an hour. If possible would like a different shape as well. Maybe the oval that is on the green buttons? Also the "go button" for the sort by isn't centered. lastly the search store button IS orange in Firefox but black in I.E. . http://saveongolf.net/store/category/cobra-irons/

Thanks,
ken

Hi,

There are tons of tutorials on how to change the color of a submit button online.

You might try this one: http://blog.formstack.com/2010/custo...tons-with-css/

However customizing CSS and buttons is beyond the scope of support we're able to provide.

you do understand that I'm talking about the buttons on the widgets in datafeedr right?
They aren't controlled by anything in wordpress are they? I thought it would be like changing the colors of the buy buttons etc.?

Hi,

Those are controlled by your theme, not Datafeedr.

Eric, I don't see how the buttons from the store are styled by the theme?
It's seems the store is generating a style.css are runtime, this needs to be changed in the factory?

Here's what I did.

I copied the dforange style form the runtime store style.css, copied it in the factorys custom css and changed the color codes:

non change color codes i pasted in the custom css.. works fine for me, if there is a beter way to use a custom color for my buttons I really would like to know..

.dforange:link, .dforange:visited
{
color: #fef4e9 !important;
border: solid 1px #da7c0c !important;
background: #f78d1d !important;
background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#faa51a), to(#f47a20)) !important;
background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #faa51a, #f47a20) !important;
filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr= '#faa51a', endColorstr='#f47a20') !important;
}
.dforange:hover
{
color: #fef4e9 !important;
background: #f47c20 !important;
background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#f88e11), to(#f06015)) !important;
background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #f88e11, #f06015) !important;
filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr= '#f88e11', endColorstr='#f06015') !important;
}
.dforange:active
{
color: #fcd3a5 !important; background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#f47a20), to(#faa51a)) !important;
background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #f47a20, #faa51a) !important;
filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr= '#f47a20', endColorstr='#faa51a') !important;
}

Hi,

The method you've chosen is fine.
