Default Preferred Hosting?

Hi,

I've noticed most of the DFR sites are pretty slow loading. Even mine is.

Is there a preferred hosting company out there that's optimized for WP? I'm more concerned with performance over price, especially as I gain more traffic.

Thanks,
Josh

Hi

You could try a few of the techniques mentioned in this post to speed up your store: http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5770

Hey Eric,

If you can't give out a preferred hosting company (I understand), how about some recommended minimum server specs?

I checked out the CDN thread, but it was very confusing. I don't have an engineering degree.

So, maybe a VPS (virtual private server) is better for improving performance instead of this complicated DNS/CDN/Cloud stuff?

Hi

Here's who we recommend: http://www.datafeedr.com/hosting/

I didn't link you to a CDN thread. I linked to an optimization thread which you can configure by following the 9 steps within the Factory. No coding required.

Eric
