Email notification and comparison sets
Hi Eric,
Is there any way i could be notified when a comparison set disappears? If i set a merchant to master does it automatically set another merchant to master? My problem is that if i have custom products with only comparison sets, if they disappear the product wont have any affiliate links. If a notification was in place i could go to the product and set a new comparison, or 301 the product. |

What is setting a master product for?

The master product's information can be used in the Comparison module to display 1 piece of information about all of the products.
Example: HTML Code:
[product.name] <-- master product
[product.description] <-- master product
[compset.each]
[product.name] <-- related product
[product.description] <-- related product
[/compset.each]
