Do you have caching turned on on the new sites?

on some of them I use w3totalcache plugin it seems to be that the plugin does not remove the blocked products when the merchant goes away or is removed from datafeedr

Hi

I don't mean W3 Total Cache. I mean our own internal caching system. Here's more info (under Cache all store pages): http://www.datafeedr.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5770

That should prevent excessive SQL loads.

Hi

Please try implementing that. It should drastically cut down on SQL resources.

Using both should be fine.
