Temp Directory: Directory not found

Hi!

I just installed the plugin, created the store, and wanted to update the store in the WP backend. BUT... :-)... I receive this error on the General page (tools.php?page=datafeedr&mm=general); Temp Directory: Directory not found.

In the directories section, I've tried the set up all directories. Didn't work.
I get this error when doing that:

ERROR:mkdir() [<a href='function.mkdir'>function.mkdir</a>]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 1086 is not allowed to access /var/www/tmp owned by uid 505() line=537
ERROR:err_dir_cannot_create(/var/www/tmp)
ERROR:err_dir_cannot_create()

cURL is installed btw.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums!

Is this a brand new WP site? If so, try this:

1. Go here: WordPress Admin Area > Media > Add New

2. Upload a random image file (doesn't matter what it is).

3. Then after the image is uploaded, go back to WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr and see if the errors disappear.

If they do not disappear, can you PM me the following information:

BLOG LOGIN INFO with ADMINISTRATOR PERMISSIONS (Temporary login information preferred)
Admin URL:
Username:
Password:

FTP LOGIN INFORMATION (Temporary login information preferred)
Host:
Login:
Password:

Hi,

I added the following line to your Temporary Directories field, checked the 'Create directory if necessary' checkbox and clicked the [Save] button. This worked:

/var/www/xxxxxxxxx.xx/public_html/wp-content/uploads/store/temp

Now the update works properly.
