The drip issue is unrelated I believe. That's just a matter of your theme not using the the_content() function on the archive pages... Or it's a by-product of the larger issue.

Unfortunately it's impossible for me to see your site...

Does your local MAMP install meet our requirements: datafeedr.com/requirements ?
