Thanks Eric. Is there an action or filter I can use to format it? As it is it is not the most friendly for theming.

There isn't much doc on the sitemap so I apologize for asking these questions.

preg_split() is another method to use if you want more control as well as preg_match_all().

Point is..lots of ways to do it. explode can be more memory intensive then the above two options.
