Mass import of various things...
 

I am not going to attempt to update to V3 on some of my bigger stores yet, but for when and if I do....

1. Is there a way to mass import all the category descriptions and images? Otherwise it is going to be a loooong slow process to manually transfer them all.

2. On the same lines, I have custom titles and descriptions for pretty much EVERY item in one of my large stores (1000's of items), as the merchant doesn't provide decent titles or descriptions. Any ideas how to do this faster than having to manually transfer them all?

Okay Eric, I am soooo bored of editing item by item, all the titles of my products and copying and pasting all the descriptions.

PLEASE... work with me... there must be a better way to do this?

Even when building future new stores, one of the things I like to do is change the titles so that my keywords are in there and they are different to the merchants. This has been one of the big things that has made some of my stores rank better than the merchant.

There has to be a quicker way to do it.

Perhaps an option to mass edit products within a category... or to be able to export the datafile, edit it and reimport it... something... PLEASE

convert the .txt file into a .csv file - open in excel - edit the title column - convert back to .txt file.

at least that used to work in the old version - should work in the new one as well

Michael... have you used the new factory? No more .txt file. It is now a .sql file and there is no way to import it back into the factory.

And if I was to export and edit the sql file, it may work the first time, but the next time I download it from the factory, it will wipe over all my work.
