I added the datafeedr simple search box. The results are working fine but no prices are showing up. (example above.) How to I get the prices to show up?

Hi,

Add this code to your Product list module here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > SEARCH PAGE > Default > Product list module > Theme settings ()

Code:

<div class="prc">[product.currency mode="sign"][product.price]</div>

Hey Eric,
It works but I don't like where the price is showing up. (in the middle near the bottom). It's confusing as to whether it's a price for the one above or below. I tried placing the code in different areas and it only gets worse. Can you look at the code and the page and give me an idea where to put the code for the price in search results so it shows up either after the Title or description but in a way that it looks good. Maybe bold too? Thanks. here is the page code I have now and the URL of how it looks.

<!-- Search Results -->
<div class="pl">
[product.each]
<div class="t3 col1">
<div class="bdr">
<div class="lc">
<div class="thmb"><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.thumbnail tag='1']</a></div>
</div>
<div class="rc">
<h2><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.name]</a></h2>
<p class="desc">
<a href="[server.url query='view=search']?merchant=[product.merchant]" title="View all products from [product.merchant]">
[product.merchant_logo]
</a>
[product.description cut='20 words']</p>
</div>
<div class="prc">[product.currency mode="sign"][product.price]</div>
<div class="clearingdiv"> </div>
</div>
</div>
[/product.each]
<div class="clearingdiv"> </div>
</div>

Hi,

I guess you could put it under the image...

HTML Code:

<!-- Search Results -->
<div class="pl">
        [product.each]
        <div class="t3 col1">
                <div class="bdr">
                        <div class="lc">
                                <div class="thmb">
                                        <a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.thumbnail tag='1']</a>
                                </div>
                                <div class="prc">
                                        [product.currency mode="sign"][product.price]
                                </div>
                        </div>
                        <div class="rc">
                                <h2>
                                        <a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.name]</a>
                                </h2>
                                <p class="desc">
                                <a href="[server.url query='view=search']?merchant=[product.merchant]" title="View all products from [product.merchant]"> [product.merchant_logo] </a> [product.description cut='20 words']
                                </p>
                        </div>
                        <div class="clearingdiv">
                        </div>
                </div>
        </div>
        [/product.each]
        <div class="clearingdiv">
        </div>
